Functional Nanomaterials (功能纳米材料课题组)课题组非常年轻,所以不用担心来了发不了好的文章,正是来了大展拳脚的时候:D
研究兴趣-The group research interest lies on the development of surface modified colloidal nanocrystals and the understanding of their chemistry and physics with the aim to use them as functional building blocks. In particular, our work is focused on the synthesis of high-quality inorganic nanocrystals, the engineering of their surface, and their assembly and consolidation into functional nanocrystal-based solids to target applications such thermoelectrics or catalysis, as well as to develop fundamental understanding of structure-property relationships. The interdisciplinary nature of our research aims for a collaborative team of physicists, chemists and material scientists.

基本要求(要求原话)-The flyer as shown in the follows. As you will see, my program is physics, but candidates from other disciplines can also apply, such as chemistry or material science. Another particularity of the program is that the students don't need to apply with a master, they can apply direct from the bachelor. In any case, you can provide my email if any interested student has a question.
背景: 物理化学,化学,材料科学均可以,申请人可以不一定是研究生,本科生也可以申请的,因为奥地利PhD培养模式有些像美国的模式。
此外,无雅思,托福成绩要求,教授可为其开语言证明,但是要通过教授的Skype面试,了解下基本情况。

SCI(Scientific Citation Index)是美国科学信息研究所(ISI)编辑出版的引文索引类刊物,创刊于1964年。分印刷版、光盘版和联机版等载体。印刷版、光盘版从全球数万种期刊中选出3300种科技期刊,涉及基础科学的100余个领域。每年报道60余万篇最新文献,涉及引文900万条。进入SCI这一刊物的论文即为SCI论文。
SCI选录刊物的依据是文献分析法,即美国情报学家加费尔德提出的科学引文分析法。该分析法以期刊论文被引用的频次作为评价指标,被引频次越高,则该期刊影响越大。
在一定时期(通常是前两年)内,某一刊物发表的论文,被已经进入SCI刊物的论文所引用的总次数,除以该刊物这一时期内的论文总数,即为该刊物的影响因子。一般来说每一年的6月份公布影响因子,影响因子并不是该年度,而是上一年度的影响因子!
