香港城市大学郭駿傑RNA分子课题组2018年博士生招收启事
课题组简介：
郭駿傑(Kwok Chun Kit)，香港城市大学化学系助理教授，从事核酸化学及核酸生物学研究领域。近年来以第一作者在Nature主刊, Nature Methods, Nature Communication, Nature Protocols, Angewandte Chemie等高影响因子杂志发表了一系列重大研究成果，荣获“Croucher Postdoctoral Fellow”、“ Selected Young Scientist Participant for the 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting”、“ Inventor Incentive Award”等奖项。自2016年开始，实验室开始与众多国内外知名大学（剑桥大学，牛津大学，清华大学, 加州大学戴维斯分校, 香港中文大学等）成立长期合作项目。更多详情请访问实验室网站：http://kitkwok.weebly.com

研究方向：
1）G-四链体的结构和功能；
2）表观遗传组学和基因调控；
3）适配子与化学靶向治疗；

待遇：
录取的博士研究生每月会有~15,900 HKD的政府奖学金补助；如果申请到PhD Fellowship Scheme，可以有每月~20,000 HKD的补贴。

Introduction of Team
Prof. Chun Kit Kwok is currently recruiting highly talented researchers to join the lab. Dr. Kwok is an expert in nucleic acid chemistry and biology. Recently he has published a series of research articles in prestigious journals including Nature, Nature Methods, Nature Communications, Nature Protocols and Angewandte Chemie. In addition, he has obtained many international awards owing to his excellent research including Croucher Postdoctoral Fellowship, Selected Young Scientist Participant for the 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, Inventor Incentive Award, etc. Since 2016, Prof. Kwok’s lab has established many collaboration projects with several prestigious Universities (Cambridge University, Oxford University, TsingHua University, UC Davis, Chinese University of Hong Kong and etc). Scholarships
Value of postgraduate studentship: ~15,900 HKD per month

Requirements
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Biochemistry or Chemistry or related disciplines. Good background with research experience in Molecular biology and Chemical Biology is preferred. Being motivated and ability to work independently are required. Good skills with English reading and writing.
