The Department of Computer Science at Loughborough university, UK, is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher in machine learning/deep learning area. Candidates are expected to have a PhD in robotics, machine learning, robot control or a related topic. Embedded programming skills in C/C++ or any mechatronics practical experience are highly desirable.
Any experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous: reinforcement learning, deep learning, multichannel signal processing, and bipedal robot balance control.
Salary: ￡29,301 to ￡38,183 per annum.

我跟 HR 确认一下再回复大家。我前面的博士后中有中国人但在英国读过书。
在英联邦拿的博士学位就可以豁免，在其他国家哪怕全程英语读完博士的也不行
以下为大学人事处的正式答复。好像跟你的理解不太一样啊。
"If your PDRA candidate’s degree(s) were taught in English and they hold degree certificates in English, there is no requirement to take an English Language test to be sponsored by the university.
If this is not the case, they can check whether they meet the UK NARIC criteria for their degree(s). If they do and have English Language translations of their degree certificates, they also don’t need to take the English Language test.

If neither of these apply, they will need to complete the IELTS at an approved centre, these are listed on the UKVI website.
Don't worry about the points required for sponsorship, as long as the test is passed and we have a copy of the certificate on file, this will be sufficient. We always check the total points for each person before we sponsor them anyway."
