本次招收的博士后实际将在美国H. X. Jiang教授团队里展开研究,名额有限,欲申请从速。

1. Research fields
1)        Semiconductors and optoelectronic devices
2)        III-nitride semiconductors (BN, AlN, GaN, InN & AlInN)
3)        Micro-size emitter arrays and solid-state lighting
4)        Energy-conversion devices

2. Supervisor
   Dr. Hongxing Jiang is a Horn Professor and Edward E. Whitacre, Jr. Endowed Chair in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Texas Tech University now (Horn Professorships, the highest honor Texas Tech University may bestow on members of its faculty). Dr. Jiang received his B.S and Ph. D from Fudan University and Syracuse University respectively. He has published 403 papers in leading journals and international conferences and has been cited more than 15000 times. In addition, he has 19 granted patents and edited 12 books. In the past years, Dr. Jiang earned lots of honors like “Elected Fellow of the American Physical Society”, “Elected Fellow of the Optical Society of America”, “Elected Fellow of SPIE the international society for optics and photonics” and so on.

    He is the inventor of micro-LEDs in the world, which area he studied for almost 20 years. Besides that, he also has high reputation in teh area of Nitride optoelectronics materials and devices. More information about him, please see: http://www.depts.ttu.edu/ece/nanophotonics/


3. Laboratory equipment

Device Fabrication:
           Flip Chip Bonding machine
           Laser lift-off machine
           ICP etching machine
           PECVD machine
           Wire bonding machine
           RTA furnace
           Deep UV photolithography
           Wafer dicing system

Material/ Device Characterization Facilities:
           Near Field Optical Microscope (NSOM)
           High-resolution AFM
           Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
           X-ray system
           Probe stations
           Spectroscopic ellipsometer
           Neutron detector calibration
           Thermal neutron source

4. Requirements
a)        Candidates should have received or is expected to receive a Ph. D. in related fields.
b)        Good English reading and writing ability;
c)        Strong theoretical and professional background;
d)        No more than 35 years of age.

5. Salary
1)      Annual salary is ~260k RMB
2)      After leaving the station, you can be recommended to work in Shenzhen University priority.
3)      After leaving the station, you can apply for 300k RMB research start-up funding if you choose to work in Shenzhen
4)      Qualified personnel in line with the Shenzhen reserve talents can get 800k RMB housing subsidies.
5)      Overseas doctor to stay in Shenzhen work can apply for Shenzhen peacock plan 1.6-2 million RMB housing subsidies; if you stay in Shenzhen University, you can apply for 3-5 million RMB research start-up funds (2016 high-level talent policy)
