Prof. King Lai 现为香港城市大学机械及生物医学工程学院助理教授。现招收有志于科研且具有机械、电子、化学、物理或其他工程背景的学生加入他的“纳米机器人及纳米制造实验室”。博士课程开始时间为2014年秋季入学。
主要研究方向为（不限于）：
纳米机器人及微纳米尺度操控
先进光学传感器及生物传感器的设计和制造
微机电系统设计

Recruitment

Dr. King Lai is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering in City University of Hong Kong. He is currently recruiting Ph.D. student with background in Mechanical Engg, Electrical Engg, chemical Engg, Physics, etc., to join his “Nanorobotics and Nanomanufacturing Laboratory” starting in Fall 2014.

The research highlights are:
1)Nano-robotics and micro/nano-manipulation
2)Design and fabrication of optical sensor and biosensor
3)Mechatronic design

English requirement for PhD program in CityU is: TOEFL (over 79, internet based) or IELTS (6.5 or above); or other test scores (like band 6 in the Chinese mainland's College English Test, with a minimum score of 490) that may be regarded as equivalent.
