速度还行,中过一篇,但是出版实在是太慢了。这都N个月了,依然没动静。

18-Jan-2015投的,按19号的意见修改后,26号重投,之后由于放假,寒假,没注意,返校后,3月7号查看,under review,3月18返回意见,拘稿,整体速度还行意见很详细,只是有好些问题难以理解.

Comments to the Author
The choice of the composition needs to be elaborated. There are
gross deviations among the text, table and figure: Intro. p5 and
Table 1; p6 (sl no. 9 t0 14) and Fig.I. Fig. 4 may be omitted as it
does not convey an important conclusion. Why theoretical
density values are changed for calculating the relative densities
of specimens 1# and 5# only (Table 2)?
Language correction is needed. The paper is written in a hurried
and negligent manner and a number of mistakes have been
committed (between the text, the table and figures).

Comments to the Author
This paper has the following drawbacks.
1. The table 1 indicates that the total content of Ti, Ni, Co, C, Cr3C2, Mo and W is maintained as 50 wt % and TiC & Y2O3 as 50 wt %. The authors have nowhere mentioned how they have arrived at this composition. What is the role of these materials in sintering/physical properties ? Has this composition
any scientific meaning ? or taken as a random choice ?

2. The melting point of Ni is 1455 oC and Co is 1495 oC. This necessarily leads to liquid phase sintering. What is the role of Mo (melting pt. 2610 oC and W ( m. pt. 3410 oC) ? This has not been explained in the text.

3. Table 2 column 4 (type of porosity) what does the abbreviation mean ?

4. The sintering process has been carried out in 7 step heating.
What is the effect of such step heating over uniform heating rate
? Is there ant special advantage ?

5. The equations 1 to 5 do not mention the energy of formation. Are these equations thermodynamically feasible ? Equations 2
to 5 indicate suffix x and y. What are the values of x and y ?.
Are they constant or variable ?

6. What does (Cr,W,Mo,Ti)(C,N) mean ?. Is it a structurally a
stable compound ?

7. Sample 1# and 5# are having same composition. The
sintering temperature of 1# is 1450 oC and 5# is 1500 oC.
The density of sample 1# sintered at 1450 oC of 5.45 g/cc has
relative density of 89.6 % of TD where as sample 5 # sintered
at 1500 oC of density of 5.53 g/cc has relative density of 88.5 %
of T.D. How is it possible ?. This applies to all other
compositions.

This paper has not thrown any new scientific information.

Hence this paper is recommended for rejection.
